The family will be inviting all their family with them to stay at their villa so the house will be accommodating several families. The nanny will only be responsible for the children of these particular children.

The main responsibilities of the position will be taking care of the four children, with particular attention to the two youngest. This is the family’s vacation time so the nanny should provide the family with extra support and a dynamic energy during her stay. The nanny’s day will typically involve helping the children with breakfast, leading play time through games and activities, lunch, more play time, having a break, then coming back for dinner. The family will be able to provide some art materials and games which can be used by the nanny to lead activities to keep the children stimulated throughout the day. The family spend the lunch/afternoon on the family yacht many days a week so nanny must be familiar with that environment too. 

 

The family is looking for someone young, energetic and outdoorsy who can integrate well into the family and is able work alongside the mother to ensure the children are happy and safe and also that the house is kept tidy. There will be 14 people staying in the house during the period so it is important the nanny be flexible and harmonize to the rhythm of the family. 

 

It is essential that the candidate be independent, organized and proactive. The house will be filled with people so it is necessary that the nanny is always alert and mindful to keep an eye on the children and to ensure no mess is left behind. The nanny should be fun, enthusiastic and positive in nature.

The scheduled hours are Mon - Sun 8h - 23h, with a multiple hour afternoon break. 

Scheduling will be flexible - sometimes starting later and staying later - the candidate should be flexible with hours to what is needed by the family. The days will be between 8-12 hours long each day. 

​

It would be ideal for the candidate to be locally based and not live more than 30mins from Ramatuelle, though there is possibility of live-out accommodation being provided for the week. 

​

The candidate must have:

- A comfortability with big dogs - comfortable and not fearful of dogs. There is one Rhodesian Ridgeback and one Labrador - very friendly but very energetic. 

- Non-smoker - essential as no-one in the household smokes.
