The nanny will be responsible for the afternoon routine of the child - bringing her home safely, taking her to the park and to any extra-curricular activities planned outside of school, preparing snacks and dinner for her each day, bathing her and preparing her for bed. The nanny should find age appropriate activities in the area, at home and help her discover new things and interests.

The family wants someone that is able to help her improve her French and help her with homework (mostly English) which will include reading and basic maths. The nanny will lead and play age-appropriate games to introduce French to the child and also read to her in both English and French.

​The scheduled hours will be Mon - Fri 14h - 19h (approx).

Hours are TBC depending on the child’s in school extra-curricular activities. If the person is willing to support household chores the family can provide additional hours. 

​

The nanny will receive 5 weeks of paid holiday per year. The nanny may need to be available to work some school vacation weeks on a case-by-case basis.

The candidate:

• Able to communicate with the child in English but help expose her to French and improve her French vocabulary (doesn’t need to be native - B1/B2 level of French necessary)

• Should be a fun, caring, and trustworthy nanny who has experience with children of a similar age

• Someone familiar with Paris and can assist the family with finding services/activities for their daughter

• Someone comfortable with small dogs
