A British/Columbian family is looking for a nanny to assist them for their holiday to Paris and care for their 5.5yo (girl) and 3yo (boy). They are looking for someone to care for the children in the mornings and for one evening.

Apartment Building

Specific Details

The family will permanently move to Paris in July, ahead of the school year, and will be looking for a nanny for similar hours for the summer vacation. From September, the children will begin school and the hours will change for after-school. There is an opportunity for the nanny to continue employment with the family on a permanent basis from summer for these hours.

It would be beneficial for the nanny to speak both English and French at a high command, as the family speak English and Spanish, but the children will also be learning French in school.

The nanny’s day will typically involve helping the children with breakfast, leading play time through games and activities, preparing their lunch, clearing up after food, helping out with bath time and clearing any child-related mess. The family would like someone that is proactive and attentive in taking the children out to explore Paris. This may be with or without the mother - visiting museums, attractions, parks, etc.

The mother will mostly be around but sole charge will be required for evening babysitting.

The family is looking for someone young, energetic and warm who can integrate well into the family and is able work alongside the mother to ensure the children are happy and safe.

The scheduled hours are Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 8h30 - 13h30, and Thu evening from 18h - 24h.

The candidate must have:

- At least 2 years of experience in a nannying or childcare role

- A positive energy and attitude

- Non-smoker
