The Process for Nannies
Below is a step-by-step outline of the process we will work through with you in search for your next employer. We think it's important to be honest and upfront about all aspects of the practice from the very beginning so there is no confusion or surprises later on. We look forward to hearing from you to discuss each step in further detail.
To begin the process, complete the initial contact form here or contact us by email. Please attach your CV and include your experience with children and the qualifications you have.
If your qualifications and experiences match our requirements, we will contact you shortly to conduct a video interview.
Following the interview, we will request a required document list from you including your CV, qualifications and three contactable references. You will be requested to fill out an application form for us to create a candidate profile that we will share with potential employers.
When we have a family that matches what you are looking for, we will share their profiles with you.If you are interested in the position, we will support you in organising an interview with the family. We recommend for this to be done over video call or in-person if possible.
Meeting the Family
When it is possible, we recommend to both parties to conduct a paid trial for 1-2 days. We believe this is the best way to initially interact with the child/ren and for you to better understand the role and the family’s expectations. It also provides a good opportunity for you to get to know the parents too.
After a successful trial, you will receive an offer of employment and a contract from the family. This will outline all the roles and responsibilities of the job. Employment will be conducted directly with the family.
After your employment has commenced, we will stay in touch and check in to see how you are settling into your role.
