The nanny will be responsible for the care of the children while the parents are not there. They will spend time with the children, taking them to the park (closest is the Jardin du Luxembourg), feeding them snacks, and speaking some French to them. The nanny should be proactive in finding activities or places to visit with the children in Paris for outings during the day.

The children are native English speakers, but are learning beginner French, so the nanny should be bilingual. The family are looking for someone who can play with them in the apartment but also take them on outings out-and-about.

The scheduled hours will vary each day and be 8 hours per day, with occasional weekend work desired.

• Speaks English and French 

• Mature, independent and adaptable - taking initiative is necessary 

• Has a good knowledge of Paris 

• Has the ability to understand children and build a positive relationship with them quickly
