Their daughter is a bright, lively, inquisitive young girl who loves to explore, create and interact with both children and adults around her. She attends a bilingual school in Paris and can speak and understand English and French perfectly. The family is looking to find a nanny to replace their current English-speaking nanny that has been with them for almost two years.
The nanny will arrive at 7h30 and give the child her breakfast and take her to school in the morning. It is negotiable to have an 11h start too (see below). She will pick up the child from school at 12h to have lunch with her at home then bring her back to school at 13h30. School finishes at 16h30 and the nanny will follow the after-school routine (snack, extra-curricular activities, park, arts and crafts etc). In the evening, she will prepare dinner for the child, give her a bath and prepare her for bed-time/put her to bed if the parents are not home. On Wednesdays, there is no school, so the nanny will be responsible for organizing engaging activities throughout the day, playdates with other children, exploring age-appropriate museums/exhibits and going out to the park.
There is no formal housekeeping, as a housekeeper attends the house 3 times a week, although some goodwill help is appreciated to keep the house well-organized (kitchen, the child’s bedroom). While the child is at school, the nanny will be responsible for the child’s laundry.
The nanny may be proposed to work during some school holidays as the family have a summer house in Brittany and in the mountains.
There are two proposed scheduled hours, which are:
-
Mon - Fri (7h30 - 19h)
-
Mon - Fri (11h - 19h) - with some flexibility to stay until 20h if needed
The candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. It would be ideal that the candidate has a qualification or certification in childcare or education. The family is looking for someone with a genuine passion for children who is invested in the development and well-being of their daughter.
Expected Start Date: 10th February 2022 - for a transition period with the current Nanny
Hours: Two options (1) Mon - Fri 7h30 - 19h or (2) Mon - Fri 11h - 19h
Contract: CDI
Salary: Highly competitive, depending on the profile
Language/s: English (necessary) or Bilingual French/English
Accomodation: Live-out but Live-in is possible if needed
Driver's Licence: Not required
