A bilingual French family is looking for an anglophone nanny for their 3yo daughter. They are looking for someone to integrate English in a fun, integrated way for their daughter to continue her English learning in a non-formal setting.

Specific Details

Start date: 29th August 2022

Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu 17h30-20h, Wed 13h-19h, and once a week 8h-11h30 

- 18.5hrs/week

Contract: CDI 

Salary: 1150 euros net/month 

Language/s: English and a conversational level of French

Accomodation: Live-out, though live-in is possible if needed (seperate studio in the same building as the family)

Driver's Licence: Not required

The nanny will be responsible for picking the girl up from school at 17h30 each day. The nanny should engage her with fun, interesting activities and play, prepare dinner each night, give her a bath and follow a bedtime routine. On Wednesdays, the nanny will take her to and from any after-school activities, followed by going to the park or exploring an exhibition/activity for children in Paris. 

The family are looking for someone that will tidy up after themselves and the child with a general sense of clearing away any activities completed or dishes used during meal times. If the nanny has a spare moment during nap/quiet times, the family would like someone that is happy to start a washing load or hang out washing if needed. 

It is unsure if the nanny will be required to work in the school vacation periods but the family would like some flexibility with this. 

 

The scheduled hours are Mon, Tue, Thu 17h30-20h, Wed 13h-19h, and once a week 8h-11h30: 18.5hrs/week

Evening babysitting will be paid on top of the monthly salary when required. 

The position is live-out but a studio apartment (same building as the family) could be provided if needed. 

 

The candidate must:

  • have at least 2-3 years of experience in a nannying or childcare role (with ages 3-5yo ideal)

  • speak a fluent level of English and a conversational level of French

  • Montessori-trained or someone creative with fun and innovative ideas of how to teach English
